Leigh Keily is an Australian celebrity portrait and mens fashion photographer based in London. He studied at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. Whilst studying at LCF he was commissioned to shoot a campaign for River Island.
Leigh’s has become increasingly sought after to photograph celebrities, with recent work including James Van Der Beek and Kunal Nayyar (Big Bang Theory), David Gandy, The Scissor Sisters, Dan Stevens, Michael Pitt and Iwan Rheon. Commercially Leigh has shot for large brands including MTV, River Island, John Freida and Tesco, and smaller niche mens brands like Vanwolff, Rufskin and WP Menswear.
Leigh is also the co-founder and editor of quarterly specialist men’s magazine JÓN, which is available worldwide featuring Leigh’s interviews and photographs of celebrities including Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, Game of Thrones’ Joe Dempsie, Russell Tovey, as well as cast members of Downton Abbey.
Leigh shoots editorial regularly for LCS as a valued team member, as well as teaching photography at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins. Leigh has just completed his first book, Photographing Fashion, out now on Crowood Press.
