Jo Baldwin Trott
Jo is a an international image and colour expert based in London, with most of her clients in the UK and the USA.
Armed with a rare attribute – that of high colour vision – Jo calls herself a ‘colour evangelist’ in the steadfast belief that colour has the power to boost self confidence, promote health, and positivity as well as make us look younger and healthier. Jo believes too many of us hide ourselves in black. Her method identifies her clients’ Zing Colours, (a patent pending concept) namely, specific colours that flatter that person’s skin tone, and thereby promote an individual’s natural harmony and flair to the full. Jo has styled a number of pop stars and has consulted for Mary Berry
She is a lecturer at the London College of Style, and her first book ‘A Mindful Business’ is available to pre-order. She is also writing a second book, focused on self-image, branding and colour tackling the problem of ‘blending-in syndrome’ and a third ‘Wheen blood is thunner than water’ – an auto-biography.
Having started life with a mortal fear of public speaking, Jo is now an experienced speaker (Public Speakers Association, Speak Like A Diva), and is often called upon by the media for comment on styling. (The Sunday Telegraph, The Independent, Oxford TV, Wycombe Sound, Marlow FM). Trained in TV presenting she is currently working on an a new television show for the UK and US.
As a woman with a wide range of former careers under her belt, including police officer and teacher, Jo’s big ambitions are matched by her extreme empathy, based on the considerable hurdles she has overcome in her life. She is a Reiki practitioner and brings in the importance of energy & the healing power of colour to her styling and speaking. She is also a charity volunteer for the Barnados charity, the Freedom programme for victims of domestic abuse, and for Leaders In Oncology Care, Harley Street. Jo loves to take her daughters on roadtrips, spends time in California and also likes to sing, surf, and play golf.
